Alexander Edwards

Born and raised in London, Alexander has made himself at home in New York City. During his time in London, he worked as a production manager for both advertising agencies and film companies. Over his career he has been a part of big-ticket advertising campaigns for clients ranging from BMW to Toshiba and from McDonald’s to the British Heart Foundation. Alexander has now made a new start of it in New York real estate. He has discovered a new outlet for his people skills, work ethic, organization and attention to detail. The skills that helped make him a success in advertising.

While the worlds of advertising and Manhattan real estate seem to have little in common but their competitiveness, Alexander has found that his experience in the former has eased his transition to the latter. “I thought about how much I like the variation of working somewhere new each day, talking to people and understanding what they want in a home,” he says. “I get a great deal of satisfaction from listening to my client's ideas and conceptions of where they want to live and then finding it for them in reality.” It is this type of people-first problem solving that has served Alexander well at Elegran. His affinity for his new home, its’ culture, food and pace has also smoothed his transition to the world of New York real estate. While Alexander counts Tribeca and the Financial District among his favorite Manhattan neighborhoods, he finds something remarkable in every neighborhood. “There’s nowhere like Manhattan anywhere else on the planet,” he says.

In his spare time, Alexander enjoys cooking, running and travel. He has been everywhere from Asia to Australasia to South America.
