Jeff Cappon

Jeff Cappon, the founding partner and visionary of Elegran, gained 11 years of industry experience tackling multiple aspects of both commercial and residential real estate. When starting Elegran, Jeff and his associates envisioned a workplace in which people felt at home and clients' interests came first. Jeff firmly believes that combining a commitment to ethics, teamwork and graciousness with a select team of committed people can change the real estate industry –- and in turn the community -- for the better.

Elegran has gone about bringing this vision to life, thanks to God’s good will and a team of talented professionals. As a member of the Elegran team, Jeff leverages his strengths and experience to help teach and motivate new recruits while giving Elegran’s clients a low-stress closing process that emphasizes open communication. As someone who has bought and sold real estate, Jeff's understanding of the consumer's perspective makes him uniquely sensitive to his clients’ needs.

A native of Williamsville, New York -– a suburb of Buffalo –- Jeff went to college in upstate New York and at the London School of Economics, majoring in both Business and Economics. In his freshman year Jeff met Michael Rossi; together with Thomas Duger and Christine DeCurtis, they work to build a better work environment.

Jeff's commitment to community improvement extends beyond the world of real estate. He is a founding board member of Elevate NY, a non-profit dedicated to enhancing education in local schools using extracurricular youth mentoring and life skills coaching. He has also organized Elegran's sponsorship of the anti-child trafficking non-profit, SCTNow. Jeff resides in Manhattan near the office and enjoys a simple lifestyle, spending most of his free time with his wife.
