Daniel Muhlenberg
Born and raised in Nyack, NY, Daniel Muhlenberg has lived on the Upper West Side of Manhattan for the past five years. After attending the University of Rochester for two years, he came to the city to finish his Bachelor’s Degree at Hunter College and graduated with honors in 2009, majoring in Political Science and minoring in Philosophy. Afterwards, Daniel chose to pursue his dream of being a professional musician with considerable success. He ran a drumming clinic for an after-school program in a Bronx Middle School, taught for the children’s music company Little Maestros, and performed with numerous bands around New York City, all without a formal music education.
Daniel currently works as a content writer at Elegran and specializes in blogging and in-depth market analysis. His extensive experience as a reporter, editorialist, and editor at the University of Rochester’s school paper The Campus Times has prepared him well for his position at Elegran. He loves to live in New York City, especially because of all the incredibly talented and ambitious people he has encountered, and plans to stay here for the foreseeable future. In his spare time he still plays music around New York, and he plans to continue to pursue his musical ambitions while simultaneously building his career as a writer.
