Lucas Kianpoor
About Lucas
Lucas embraced entrepreneurship at age 12 when he started his first business, a landscaping company, with his best friend. By the time they were in high school they had two trucks and independent crews with their own contracted routes and were able to sell the company before beginning college.
While attending the University of Amsterdam, College of Politics, Psychology, Law, and Economics (HsC) Lucas was drawn to the nonprofit sector. He served as a project manager at Shades of Love, which runs and funds cataract surgery camps, provides protective eyewear, and hand delivers sunglasses to road workers and schools in areas with a high risk of UV based macular degeneration. Considering this a lifelong project he continues his work with this organization as project developer on a volunteer basis.
During Covid Lucas was the lead development consultant for COVAID AFRICA, a fundraising drive for Medicine Sans Frontier (Doctors Without Borders).
Lucas was inspired to become an advisor by witnessing the positive impact his mentor, an advisor at Elegran, is able to have in his clients' lives. He was shown that professionalism, honesty, and consistency is what would allow him to create his own career as an advisor.
With an inherent love of helping and meeting people, real estate was a natural progression for Lucas and meeting his desire to work with fascinating people from all walks of life while still running his own business. He takes immense pride in being in his clients’ corner during what can be one of the most important processes of their lives. He also hopes to make the process as fun as possible with his high upbeat energy.
A native New Yorker, Lucas resides on the Upper West Side on Riverside and 89th and grew up moving around between NYC, New Jersey and California.
When home he enjoys cooking and barbecuing with friends, gardening, and playing guitar. He surfs in the summer and snowboards in the winter and gravitates toward anything competitive.
