About Sara
Sara embraces the Elegran ethos of humanizing real estate. Understanding that the process of looking for the right space can feel daunting and overwhelming, Sara knows the inventory landscape and listens to her clients to create a stress free process that they can enjoy. A seasoned salesperson, Sara chooses to set a pace for working with her clients that is steady and effective, rather than overly aggressive and rushed.
Nurturing both friendships and business relationships comes easily to Sara and key to her success in developing long standing relationships.
“I love finding the right fit for a client, whether it is an outfit they need for an event, or a home. So much of selling is a collaboration and listening to the clients’ needs, knowing the inventory, and sharing their vision is what most often creates positive outcomes for all parties.
I also adore real estate itself and I am very romantic about New York City. As a trained artist, I think being able to see an apartment as a blank canvas is important for putting a client into the right space.”
Since 2013, Sara has been the owner of a vintage clothing store in Bushwick called Chess and the Sphinx. She sourced vintage clothing by attending estate sales and offering private closet cleaning. Many of the homes she worked in were being prepared to go to market, and many of the women who are beginning to sell their clothing are in the process of downsizing their homes. The idea of obtaining her real estate license and working with Elegran was a natural progression for her.
Raised in Westchester, New York, Sara makes her home in Brooklyn, on the border of Bushwick and Ridgewood. She attended The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and received a BA in Painting with an Emphasis in Art History. In her spare time you can find her focusing on painting (her first love), visiting museums and art galleries, running, and practicing yoga.
