Elegran Finalizes $23.4 Million Upper East Side Sale
In one of the biggest sales of 2014, Elegran Real Estate and Development has finalized a sale of an Upper East Side penthouse for $23,419,750. Led by Elegran co-founder Michael Rossi and Elegran Agent Nick Agostinelli, the New York Times confirmed the deal as New York City's largest of the week.
Located at 135 East 79th Street between Park and Lexington Avenues, the duplex penthouse in the 19-story brick and limestone building features 10 rooms across 5,086 square feet of interior space, as well as 773 square feet of two private terraces. William Sofield of Tom Ford and Gucci fame designed both the exteriors and interiors of the homes.
In addition to the sprawling penthouse residence, 135 East 79th Street includes a thoughtful amenities package including a full-time doorman, concierge service, porters and a live-in building manager. The building features a landscaped interior courtyard, state-of-the-art fitness center with yoga room, residents’ lounge with fireplace, and a family club room facing the garden.
“We’re very excited that we were able to find the right home for our client,” said Michael Rossi. “We’re always striving to find the best possible luxury residences for our clients, and this is a prime example of us accomplishing just that.”
