A parking garage with megamansion aspirations located in the West Village has recently entered the market, boasting over 30,000 square feet and asking for $49.95 million. The property, located at 332 West 11th Street, is currently home to a parking garage and auto shop, and is what StreetEasy claims to be “one of the last megamansion opportunities in the West Village.”

The building is located between Greenwich Street and Washington Street and is perfect for a townhouse conversion in an area that has a strong demand for these traditional-style city houses. The building is being sold by the parking garage’s owner, and consists of six stories and an English basement. 

The site is located on a quiet street in the West Village and boasts features such as 13-foot-high ceilings on the first floor, the coveted English basement, and 50 feet of frontage on the side facing West 11th Street. Future residents who wish to install a backyard can opt to do so by cutting seven feet off the back of the building, creating a more open space and allowing for more light to illuminate the interior rooms. If residents want to use this square footage in another way, they could create a setback penthouse on the roof, allowing for an alternate form of outdoor space. Residents will also be able to enjoy views of a lush garden situated adjacent to the building.
