Judi Harvest's Profile

Real Estate, art and beekeeping have a lot in common; all require patience, perseverance, problem solving, research and visualization. Fundamental to all three, are light, space and location. 

With a Masters Degree in Fine Arts, more than 30 years in real estate in New York City and 18 years as a beekeeper, Judi Harvest gets right to the heart of what someone really wants in a property. 

Originally from Miami, Florida, she attended Temple University, Tyler School of Art in Rome, Italy and Barry University in Miami earning her B.F.A., Cum Laude degree. Further studies at The School of Visual Arts in Urbino, Italy, The New York Studio School and The Art Students League, resulted in a M.F.A. degree. She lived in Venice, Italy full- time for five years, working and exhibiting her art in Europe. Judi speaks Italian fluently.

Currently Judi lives and works in Chelsea where she has her art studio. She has called Manhattan home for more than 40 years, all the while motivated by an intense fondness for the city, the culture and its diversity. Judi brings many assets to real estate from a distinguished background as a professional artist, including creativity, intuitiveness, ability to work under pressure, attention to detail and a sense of humor. She has worked as an independent real estate broker in Manhattan, an event planner, a construction supervisor, graphic designer and interior designer. Harvest says, Working as a beekeeper requires patience, fearlessness, gentleness and respect towards nature. Honeybees live in colonies, one honeybee alone cannot accomplish anything, it takes the entire colony working together to create honey. Honeybees and pollination are great metaphors for real estate.
