Christa was an absolute joy to work with. Shortly after meeting us, she knew exactly what we were looking for and was with us every step of the way, including late night calls/meetings and last minute viewings. She was never "pushy”, throughout the entire process, we felt that she had our best interests at heart and that we were her top priority. She was empathetic, communicative and knowledgable. We love our new place in Chelsea and already referred Christa to numerous friends and will continue to do so. - Hannah
Christa, your thoughtful insights, guidance and help were so greatly appreciated by our family. So thank you for your focus, patience, and kindness. I love your passion for what you do and you are certainly a terrific Type A. Thank you for being open and honest throughout the entire process and putting our best interest first. - Paul
We recently worked with Christa to find an apartment in midtown Manhattan and found Elegran through a referral.
From the outset of our interaction with her, we found Christa to be incredibly responsive and helpful. After scheduling a brief call with us to walk through our criteria and tight timing/limited availability to view apartments (one of us was moving from Boston and the other had been working out of Miami), Christa pulled together an ambitious schedule of viewings that allowed us to see a broad range of apartments that all met our initial criteria in a single Friday.
Christa patiently spent a full Friday with us walking around the city for all the viewings she had scheduled. She carefully observed our responses to each of the apartments we visited, which helped her to better understand what we were looking for. She also guided us to focus on what criteria was most important for us. After the viewings, we went back to the Elegran office and she used Elegran's online system to identify available apartments that met our criteria, which had evolved based on the apartments she showed us earlier in the day. We also appreciated helpful suggestions from some of her colleagues, which made it clear that the agents at Elegran work in cooperation and do not view each other as competitors.
Christa pulled together a short, more targeted list of viewings later that evening and scheduled the viewings for the next two days (Saturday-Sunday). On Saturday, we saw the apartment we eventually chose to live in. Christa could tell that we were very excited about it during the viewing and leveraged her relationship with the building agent to allow us to put in an application on the apartment immediately after the showing so that we could take it off the market.
After seeing a few additional apartments on Saturday and Sunday, we made our choice to stick with the apartment for which we put in an application. Christa helped smooth the application process (including managing the delivery of the deposit check), given that both of us had to return to Boston/Miami. She also made sure to check in with us to make the sure the application was approved and that our move-in went smoothly.
In addition to her skills, relationships, and the resources available to her from Elegran, it was clear to us from spending 3 full days with her that Christa also has a lot of personal experience renting and owning apartments in Manhattan. We would strongly recommend her services to anyone looking for for an apartment in NYC and look forward to having her help us out for our next apartment search. - Pranai
