Originally built in 1866 and once a shipping and telegraph hub for American Express, The Amex Building Condominium at 157 Hudson Street is an historic structure nestled in the heart of Manhattan's Tribeca neighborhood. It was renovated in 2008 by architect Kevin Kennon, and now stands at five stories and includes fifteen luxury apartments. During the remodeling, a variety of objects were found from its original state, including old signs, stonework as well as antique piping, all of which were incorporated into the building's new design.
